Stunning single crystal of Magnesioaxinite (Axinite-Mg) from Tanzania. These are found as a biproduct of mining for Tanzanite and are only seldom found. This is a good one, with glassy luster, transparency, and nice purple and blue coloration. It's much thicker and robust than most. Complte all around with minor edge chipping, much better than the vast majority.From: Marin Minerals
