Wardite (Ref: FM571)

Rapid Creek, Yukon, Canada
130mm x 95mm x 30mm
Thin matrix plate covered by crystals of the rare phosphate Wardite. One side is completely covered by Wardite crystals which are in turn coated by tiny prismatic crystals of another species, possibly Childrenite. The back side has more isolated Wardite crystals. This is a large and rich example of the species.
