M'Passa mine, Mindouli, Pool, Republic of Congo

An outstanding example for the species, especially from this country. The specimen consists of a loose floater grouping of semi lustrous somewhat iridescent flattened crystals of chalcocite. What at first appears to be chipping along one edge is completely natural. This is in excellent condition all around.
