Large translucent purple Fluorite octahedra to 4.7cm on edge. I typically don't buy De'An Fluorite specimens as they are usually etched out of Quartz resulting in a chalky, splintery Quartz matrix that nearly always gives me a quartz splinter in a finger when I hold one. This specimen is natural and unetched as evidenced by the nice, sparkly drusy Quartz surface of the matrix. The Fluorite is composed of 5 intergrown crystals with interesting multi-faceted sufaces and slightly curving edges. One very small tip chip on one crystals, otherwise undamaged and showy. This is a specimen I sold about 20 years ago and recently received back in trade.Data last checked on 22nd Feb 2025 - specimen may no longer be available
