An impressive large lustrous example of needle ore hematite. In super condition. The specimen comes with a custom acrylic display base. This would have been collected in the 1950s. The specimen was figured in The Mineralogical Record, January, February, 2024 issue, page 98, figure number 31. The specimen was out for public display at the Tucson show 2017, East Coast show 2018, and the Denver show, 2023.
