A gorgeous specimen of rare legrandite crystals from the famous Ojuela Mine, Mexico. It comes with a label from renowned Dr. Peter Megaw of Tucson, Arizona, USA. The crystals form a beautiful radial spray on a small matrix. They have a rich and saturated orange-yellow color. They have a strong luster and sparkle nicely. The crystals are translucent to transparent and gemmy. They are sharp with chisel terminations. Some darker orange phantoms are seen at the tips. Legrandite is one of the most desirable rare minerals from Ojuela mine. In excellent conditions – base part contacts.
