Sharp, lustrous deep red zircon crystal 1.5cm across partially embedded in matrix. Transparent and gemmy with excellent depth of colour. A few adjacent smaller crystals protrude well from the matrix and show excellent crystal form. Unusual and showy piece, in excellent condition. One tiny nick to the main zircon visible with a lens.
