This is a Forsterite var. Peridot with Magnetite from Sapat Gali, Naran, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. An impressive and hefty Peridot crystal dominates this piece originating from the uniquely altered rocks of the Kaghan Valley in Pakistan, near the source of Lapis and other rare stones from Biblical times (in fact, these peridot were probably considered "emeralds" in that time").
