This is a Aragonite var. Zincian from Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Oshikoto Region, Namibia. This is a lovely group of sharp, lustrous, translucent, pale yellow prismatic Zincian Aragonite that has a typical style unique from Tsumeb and which seems to have gone through two name changes in the last decade or so (lead-rich Aragonite formerly known as Tarnowitzite; or the zinc-rich Aragonite variety Nicholsonite, which does not seem to be considered a species anymore).Data last checked on 29th Jul 2024 - specimen may no longer be available
