Large, dark green single Tourmaline crystal from recent production at this famous mine in Zimbabwe. Tourmaline has been very rare from this mine historically, which has primarily targeted blue Topaz. Most Tourmaline found here occur as small pencil-like crystals and this fat, somewhat tabular crystal in an anomaly. Though dark, it is transparent facet grade throughout with a more greenish brown at the upper third and a bright pure green in the lower two thirds. There is a bit of edge chipping along the sides, it's complete all around, and has a perfect termination.
