Not your typical druse of Manganite crystals! This specimen features a lustrous, metallic, jet-black, striated, manganite crystal of 1.8 cm rising out of an open vug. The vug is set in massive crystalline manganite lined with a bit of barite for contrast. These old Ilfeld Manganites are regarded as the world's best for species and came out in late 1800s.
