A classic specimen from this classic locality! A large Barite crystal (81 mm long) is pseudomorphed by small white Quartz crystals to 3 mm, and richly covered with numerous shiny black Tennantite crystals to 10 mm, all perched on a knob of similar small Quartz points with Tennantite and Chalcopyrite. A large white Quartz crystal measuring 26 mm long, partly covered by smaller Quartz crystals, provides a nice accent at the base of the pseudomorph. This attractive old specimen dates to about the mid 1960s, when this collection was assembled. No obvious damage.

ex. Paul Edwards collection.
