Creedite (Ref: 339)

I have seen numerous Creedites over the years, but rarely such a fine specimen with that great aesthetics. Here we have several spherical clusters of pale lavender-coloured tapering crystals. They are transparent as well and they are showing I superb luster and perfection. Purple Creedites, despite this one has a very pale colour, are far rarer than their orange brothers. Orange Creedite from Mexico is abundant on the market today from more modern finds, however, fine purple Creedite, like this, is far less available. These were found only a few times, more nearly 40 years ago now in the early to mid-1980s and nowadays they are still history. And the overall aesthetics of this specimen is crazy good.
