Fine Dioptase specimens like this are one of the holy grail desires for collectors. It is a SUPERB miniature! This fine matrix Dioptase specimen is highlighted by shockingly well exposed, complete-all-around up to 1,3 cm large crystals. The Dioptase crystals are fat too, and very equant. They are glassy and gemmy with a dark, emerald green colour, that glows when backlit. The main crystal´s colour and luster are simply as good as you will find. To my mind, the very best Dioptase specimens in the world are ones that have the Dioptase crystals sitting up above the matrix for greater aesthetics, and these are perched beautifully for maximum efffect.
