Freiberg Silvers are world famous and this classic locality produced some of the finest Wire-Silver-specimens in the world. And this is a SUPERB and very unusual antique Silver specimen with a fine patina on the Silver wires what gives this superb piece way more dramatic and overall aesthetics. It is a display-quality miniature sized MATRIX PIECE, from the famous Himmelsfahrt Mine of Freiberg in Saxony. The curving wires here are tightly intergrown, twist and turn above and they are reminiscent to a ball of wool. A desirable display piece, complete all around, and an important old classic!Data last checked on 3rd Apr 2025
