An amazing and uncommon half geode of azurite and malachite from this less common locality - Blue Ball Mine, Globe, Arizona, USA. It displays gorgeous royal blue color of azurite enclosing green malachite core - very vivid and rich combination. The contrast is strong. The azurite ball is filled with green, velvet-looking acicular malachite crystals, which are terminated at the center of the geode. In excellent condition.
