Lost Lake Claim | Nacimiento Mine | San Pablo | Sandoval County | New Mexico | USA
71mm x 40mm x 21mm

A relatively unusual locality piece: spherical blue Azurite crystal clusters are intergrown with sparkling Calcite micro crystals and associated with little light green Malachite. This colorful specimen is abundantly covered on both sides; it was found around 2010 at the Lost Lake Claim west-northwest of Los Alamos in northern New Mexico. It is not difficult to understand why specimens such as this one carry the nicknamed ´Blueberries´.Data last checked on 28th Jul 2024 - specimen may no longer be available
