Red Beryl (Ref: 5655)

This is a fantastic specimen with several deep purple colored hexagonal Beryl crystals on typical Andesitic matrix from the world famous Ruby Violet Claims in the Thomas Range area of Utah. This locality is best known for its signature red Beryls, also known under the varietal name Bixbite or ´Red Emerald´, with this incomparably highly saturated color. The crystals on this specimen are all very well terminated, highly lustrous and to 0.7 cm long tall. The central main crystal is surrounded by slightly smaller red Beryl crystals. They are absolutely gemmy with incredibly beautiful internal reflections and fire. This is definitely a classic from the 1980s. No need to say how hard to come by these days, especially not at a reasonable price like we are asking for this incredible specimen.
