Galena on Quartz (Ref: 5711)

This magnificent miniature-sized specimen features an excellent 2.2 cm measuring perfect Galena cluster prominently perched on a bed sparkling clear to white Quartz crystals. The crystals have am incredible metallic luster, they are sharp and undamaged. A smaller, equally perfect crystal close to the cluster mentioned earlier completes the superb aesthetics of this excellently balanced piece. There is definitely nothing to complain about with this specimen. Perfection, overall aesthetics and balance are second to none—simply outstanding. If you consider that the time-honored mines of Neudorf were only operated in the 18th and 19th centuries and were closed around 1903, you can imagine what an opportunity it is to get your hands on such a perfect piece that has survived the centuries.
