This excellent and colorful Kämmererite specimen has several sharp magenta-colored crystals up to 5 mm of the Chromium-bearing Chlinochlore variety on a sparkling bed of smaller crystals. Even with the faintest light, the crystals are super gemmy and literally glow in the most intense magenta. The luster and fire of the crystals is difficult to capture on photo, as you can imagine; this piece is much better in person. Most, if not all, of the Kämmererite specimens come from a period in the 1970s, when now former friends cleared out each other´s clefts.Data last checked on 28th Jul 2024 - specimen may no longer be available
