Gemmy single blue/green Tourmaline crystal from the famous 'Rocket Pocket' of the Pederniera Mine. Found in 2001, the Rocket Pocket was small but yielded about 350 crystals. The crystals were of very high quality and ranged in size up to 12 cm. This crystal has a steep pyramidal termination on both the main crystal and smaller side crystal. It is transparent and hollow at the base, as is typical for many pieces from this pocket. Undamaged and unrepaired. Pictured in the Mineralogical Record Pederniera Mine issue (Volume 46, #1, page 78). The photo in the Mineralogical Record shows Daniel Trinchillo catloguing the crystals from the pocket.
