The wonderful striated Elbaite crystals of this specimen are absolutely gemmy translucent and show a vitreous luster. From the base to the perfect flat terminations with not fully developed pyramid faces. The main crystals are slightly thicker than the other ones and reach 4.2 cm in length. They have a dark green color at the base and transition into a noticeably lighter color along the edges on the prisms. The upper section of the crystals is light green with the terminations turning pale pink. They are accompanied by tabular Clevelandite matrix with a vitreous luster. Color combination and aesthetic appeal lend additional tension and contrast. As a little bonus, little Elbaite crystals up to 1 cm tall here dot the matrix.
