Beryl var. Emerald from Colombia (Ref: DC24-GEMER)

I tried so hard to take photos that were representative of this incredible emerald specimen, but nothing even comes close to how it looks in person! In person this is a deep, deep green emerland color, not this brighter, paler green that comes out in the photos. It's just so hard to photograph something this deep green. In any case this crystal has two smaller, side=car crystals on it, and the termination is flat and clean. It is totally gem quality, and with color this deep you could technically cut it into gemstones, but as a mineral collector I would advise against that since it's such a fine crystal. Sorry.
