Quartz var. Fire Agate (Ref: P576)
Deer Creek Fire Agate Mine, Graham County, Arizona, USA
45mm x 25mm x 15mm
$400
Tumble-polished Chalcedony nodule known as Fire Agate for the bright irridecent botryoidal formations. This is a specimen I bought about 40 years ago. At the time I bought it, it was considered the highest grade available (what was called a 'Peacock' grade) due to the green colors evident along the edges. Weighs 23.4 grams.Data last checked on 22nd Feb 2025 - specimen may no longer be available
