Exceptional specimen of gemmy Ludlamite crystals from Colavi Mine, Potosi, Bolivia. This mine produces unique and quite different Ludlamite crystals comparing to the famous Huanuni Mine, Bolivia. The rare iron phosphate Ludlamite forms sharp blocky crystals to 21mm. The dominant crystal at the top forms an excellent focal point. The Ludlamite has rich green color, strong luster, some transparency and gemminess. Some gemmy Siderite is seen at the base. In excellent condition - some back side contact. On acrylic base., Top quality Ludlamite!
