This is a superbly defined, multifaced crystal of light blue Afghanite perfectly perched on marble matrix. The Afghanite is sharp edged and lustrous with a good transparency. The termination is almost perfect and the contrast very good. A fine and almost undamaged specimen. Afghanite is still a rare member of the feldspathoid group of minerals.
