Deep egg yolk-yellow, somewhat cauliflower-shaped Mimetesite clusters up to 1 cm with relatively little matrix, which largely consists of crystallized Mimetesite anyway. Mimetesite is undoubtedly one of the more famous and much coveted mineral species from the renowned Tsumeb Mine in the Namibian desert. The crystallization forms of the species range from six-sided, sometimes gemmy crystals, to barrel-shaped and rice grain-like crystals. If you look closely with the naked eye or even better with slight magnification, you can wonderfully see the exact six-sided outline of the crystals with pointed terminations. An excellent specimen in excellent and pristine condition.
