Brookite on Quartz (Ref: 6246)

A wonderfully balanced and aesthetic miniature-sized Brookite specimen with a 3.5 cm measuring main crystal of brown color along with clear translucent, lustrous Quartz crystals. The doubly terminated Brookite crystal has excellent longitudinal striations, a perfect vitreous luster, incredible terminations, and a great translucency on the edges. This is definitely a very good specimn with a great aesthetic impact, and just a little contact in the crystal edge. All Brookite specimens included in this update come from a find from the early 2000s. Due to the relative fragility of the freestanding Brookite crystals, they are cast in a special water-soluble resin for protection before they are shipped.
