A thick tabular crystal of the uncommon mineral aphthitalite. The crystal is transparent with multiple very slight phantoms. These specimens come from a find of the largest aphthitalite crystals yet discovered in the world. The bottom of the specimen is incomplete and there is some minor chipping; two sections (the back left corner and the back right face) show growth interference.Data last checked on 23rd Feb 2025
